The Senior Product Marketing Specialist is a key leader within the PAC / Product line. She/he provides marketing, customer and competitive insights to support the definition of the PAC differentiated product offering. He/she builds value propositions and business cases and supports Sales teams to maximize business win rate and profitability. The individual shall own and manages a product within the PAC. And work very closely with customers, business and functional teams to support product roadmap execution and growth plans for new products and new market applications aligned to product line & business strategies.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
 Interface with customer as a product champion, defines value propositions based on customer needs analysis and incorporates into value proposition/go to market strategies
 Support development and execution of strategic plans, product plans, including cost and growth strategies
 Collaborate with the Customer Business Teams to perform product voice of the customer
 Develop and understand customer total cost of ownership
 Review product’s financial analysis in accordance with product line roadmaps/strategies. Determine and review pricing inputs for all financial analysis, value pricing, pricing strategy and catalogue publications
 Support product prioritization and manages product RDE (Research Development & Engineering) funds to effectively manage product roadmap
 Participate in Product Action Committee related to area of responsibility - to enable cross functional product strategy execution
 Align resources for product strategy deployment for product line execution- including capital, RD&E, recovery, and technical capabilities (engineering and manufacturing)
 Responsible for overall product performance and integrity

Basic Qualifications:
 Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Equivalent (MBA from top tier school highly desirable)
 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
 3 years of Product Management experience, with ownership of product life cycle within Aerospace.
 3 years of experience managing high technology products from inception through sunset
 Additional experience in Business Development and Sales is preferred
 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly matrixed organization
 Ability to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications:
 Excellent customer skills to develop customer relationships. Experience working with Airlines customers or MRO’s is preferred
 Experience in managing product RDE (Research Development & Engineering) funds to manage product roadmaps, developing and executing strategy and growth plans for new products and new market applications.
 Experience with delivering successful results on large distributed systems inclusive of significant software development. Exposure to global operations.
 Ability to quickly assess unclear, complex, and ambiguous situations and reduce into distinct, clear, timely, and stable direction for the development teams
 Strong analytical and financial skills, ability to balance strategic orientation and bias for action
 Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, public speaking)
 Excellent Negotiation skills with customer and internal stakeholders
 Knowledge of Aerospace business allowing for innovative concepts and promotion of new ideas is desirable.
