1. PRE-REQUISITE:

  • Worked as Sr. Bid manager on MPLS, Cloud, SDN/NFV and other mainstream Data Networking products
  • Pre-sales / bid-team experience of large & complex deals including creation & review of cost models, SOWs, response to RFI/RFP, contracts etc.
  • Working experience with Global Sales and environment
  • Delivering against challenging time frames either alone, or as part of a team
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills for C-Level clients e.g. CIO, CTO, CFO
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the networking areas such as Network & security strategy and assessment, architecture & design, MPLS, Switching, Telepresence, Wireless, Unified Corms, IP Telephony, WOPT, FW/IPS etc.,
  • Self-starter/Self-motivated, team player
  • Need to be mobile and prepared for international travel
2. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To take overall responsibility as a sales enabler through Global Bid management
  • Managing Global Bids\Proposals\RFP\RFI responses
  • Creation & review of cost models, SOWs , response to RFI/RFP, contracts etc. for large and complex deals
  • Participate in bid qualification and review committee to decide on bid or no-bid
  • Optimize cost and maximize effectiveness and efficiency in winning new customer contracts by collaborating with various stake holders for solutioning and pricing
  • Work with Sales, understand Win strategy, challenges and drive execution of a winning strategy .
  • Supporting the team for creation of a win plan with market and competitive intelligence
  • Communicate & align the bid & account strategy with internal team members
  • Initiates & owns meetings related to the bid (Kick-offs & Review meetings)
  • Regular follow-ups with stake holders during the bid cycle
  • Do the risk analysis where necessary
  • Drive and achieve approvals through relevant mgmt. levels
  • Enable learning & continuous improvement into the organization by contributing to Win-Loss analysis
3. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Bid Management, Presales, Cisco, Juniper or other network security certifications

4. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years 5. EDUCATION:
BE/B-Tech with MBA preferred

6. TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS:
Core networking & network security skills
