DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Zonal Sales
Manager South – Neurosurgery

REPORTING: Country Sales Manager, Surgical Technologies

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB (Brief

Summary):
Drive the “Sales” strategy for the South India for products in Neurourgery.

MAIN JOB
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1)
Responsibility for Top line/Growth

a. Over Deliver on revenue across
product lines for the Neurosurgery business in South India and Srilanka

b. Planning and execution around the
strat plan for region and ensuring the resources are in place to deliver the
same

c. Ensuring that product wise AOP’s are
met for the year in region

2)
Strategic Initiatives

a. Identify and implement medium to
long term Market Development initiatives across South India in collaboration
with Marketing and Education team

b. Ensure strategic initiatives like
Go-Direct receive full support from the Sales Team and the targets around GD
initiatives are met

3)
People Management and collaboration

a. Ensure that the sales team is fully
in sync with Marketing, T&E, Technical services and Application Commercial
Organization etc and the support- sales collaboration is happening in entire
region.

b. Adhering to the organizational
people processes like Quarterly PE discussions, talent development and
monitoring individual goals, Project Engage and SFE alignment

c. Co-ordinate and collaborate within
RTG to execute RTG deals and other areas where leverage as one RTG can be
established

4)
Customer Relationship Management

a. Ensure strong customer relationships
with top customers (across regions) region along with a strong market knowledge
around the existing dynamics.

b. Have good relationships with
Non-clinical stakeholders in key accounts across the region like the CXO’s
across key accounts

c. Get personally involved in the high
Value deals in Navigation with the key clinical and non- clinical stakeholders
to ensure smooth finalization of the deal

5)
Distribution and Operations

a. Ensure that the sales team is
diligently reviewing distributors every quarter in collaboration with the
distribution manager.

b. Expedite distributor appointments/terminations
as per business needs

c. Ensure the key parameters around channel
partner health like inventory, AR, claims etc are monitored in collaboration
with the commercial Manager- RTG

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS PREFERENCES

·
Bachelor in / Engineering / Science

·
A total of at least 10 years
(or more) in sales/marketing and/or business development in capital medical
equipment industry

·
MBA in Sales and Marketing

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

·
Strong grasp on the market a and understanding around
the complexities, competition, customer preferences etc

·
Good collaborator who can leverage on the strengths of
MDM, Mktg, and T/E and can monitor the channel partners using the commercial
organization

·
Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of
the business and the current set of challenges

·
Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets
and customer needs) in order to develop region specific plans, strategies and
tactics.

·
Strong leadership and vision, assertive, and can
collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization

·
Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business
model if the current model is not yielding desired results

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

·
High travel requirement (70% of times)
